Does FloraNova do the same as the Flora series? I don't see it mentioning, "Enhances flavor, nutrition, aroma and essential oils in both hydroponic and soil cultivated plants." Which one is better for the best yield? I am not sure which one to get. I will be growing tomatoes and other herbs also.

If you get a lot of different names for your address (more than just one previous resident), then sure go ahead. The postal worker might just think it's a new resident/roommate. Only if it's a small package that will surely fit inside the mailbox.

If they made hydroton with holes and crevices to look somewhat like lava rock, then it would be perfect. It will give more points for the roots to latch on to. The holes and crevices will catch small pockets of water thereby holding more nutrients. But I don't think the medium can be improved...

Also wanted to say I covered the seeds very lightly. Take a tiny ball of peat and put it over the seed and push to cover it. As for lighting aspect, I don't think it's important. Just don't have it under a hot CFL, that's not necessary for a bean to pop.

Seed tray with the domes are about 5 bucks at Wal Mart. It comes with the pellets. Utilize the heat from your computer.

I'm guessing single seeds are more trouble than they are worth. They have to open a new package, cut off a piece of the packaging, bag the seeds, print labels. It must be time consuming and they end up having an open package of seeds that can't be sold as a whole. If breeders produced bulk seeds...
