If I keep my seeds in a dvd container in my room which is usually about 69-70 degrees all in their original packaging will they survive a year? Or would they survive better if I take them out of their packaging and put them into a sealed container of rice or something? Just wondering the best...

Not sure. My situation would be outside in a tent. Maybe a bit cold-10/20-50 degrees. With a fan to keep circulation in the tent.
