I am doing well on temps so far, but I worry as summer comes and it gets hot, I will have res temp problems. What are the my issues if the temps get out of the optimal range? Obviously decreased nutrient absorption.

I am thinking the only way to go, unfortunately, is the dual diaphragm pump. They are expensive but the other options are not good. The cheap eco air pumps will die a slow death over about a 1 year period and will die before the end of a year....the commercial pumps are really loud and generate...

I was thinking of adding a duct to the top, where the fans are to vent that air out of the room. Just using the fans of the unit to push that air out, not adding another fan to suck it out.

Grower's House has them on clearance for $650 so I decided to go from HPS to LED. What to know about LEDs? Should I try to duct this to remove heat? I found a DIY ducting set up for these. Has anyone tried to run one of these?

How important is the res temp? What is the propper temperature range? Putting a gallon of ice in every day is a real pain in the ass.

I am having all kinds of problems with my seedlings going to first node and then stopping and dieing at that point. I have been growing in Rockwool and it has not been going well, as I have killed 5 seedlings so far. What other medium can I use?

Put down 1/4" plywood to create a solid floor, then put a 1/2" or 3/4" sheet of drywall on top of that and you will be fine.
