i got one, its a throw out .just get 4 cfls {maxium watts and lumens} standard ballset size

I got an mini HPS 70watt bulb and tryed to plug it into an incandsent dome fixture. It fits in to the standard fixture but doesnt turn on. that when i realize that i need some kind HPS fixture . I check at local hardwood stores , even one of the biggest one in the state, and that hardwood store...

all that is required for decent dense flowers is 10,000 lumens , to be honest with you you can go head and add more lights but you might already have enough already. A 26 watt cfl has 1800 lumens per light so if you have 9 of these then you got plenty of light ,

10000 lumens are needed for dense buds in the flowering period , try extending your flower period and addin as many flouresent bulbs as you can purchase. or better yet get some cfl . youll be all right
