I'm weighing my first buds when picked this week and will compare when they are cured shortly. Will let you guys know. Its getting close to summer here in Oz with temps at 20-30C (70-90F) buds are drying real fast. In the jars after hanging and bagging for 4 days.

Thanks Sanklovich. I'm taking off a pair of buds everyday now. Plant may just last out the week to make it one week since flushing lol. 90% of buds are ready and also breaking out with male flowers now. The buds I first picked last Friday and hung and bagged, are smelling real good. Very sweet...

Excellent thread Rep+ Just harvesting my first plant that was female but went hermie last few days. Leaving a few branches with minimal/no male flowers to get more female nugs. Good smelling buds with many hairs (many amber). Your great tute & pics helps me now. Thanks heaps. Just been hanging...

Are they down all the time? Or only at start of light after dark. Weed is a very active plant and leaves move up and down everyday. They even turn towards the light if its not right on them.

How long do you guys normally need to wait after flushing to harvest? I figure it may take a few days of clean watering as the nutes would be in the plant already from 2 days ago.

Cigarette or rolly tobacco has harsh dangerous chemicals in them that can give you mouth, lung or throat cancer. Dry your herb out and take it naturally. And enjoy life longer. :weed:

Oooh yeah! That looks just right. :hump: Did my first grow in two decades and stressed the plant the last week.....just after my Blue Heeler had to be put to sleep for nasal cancer. Shit! Does weed have feelings too???? Nah was more likely me pruning too many yellow fan leaves everyday (max 4)...

Yeah read your post about water curing. Will try that on some buds. Rep+ to you. I decided to flush with about 18L. But I cut two stalks about midway down. They both weighed an ounce with shade leaves and stalk before trimming. Will air cure these first buds on a hanger. See pics below. Will...

KushKing, thanks, will it still be a good smoke? I'd hate to waste all these months with no decent smoke. I'm at least tempted to cut a few large buds off......but not sure today or later after flushing.

Had this plant growing from bagseed nearly 4 months now. My first grow in 20 years. 2 months veg and nearly 2 months flowering under several 48w CFLs. Initial light was 18/6 and now in flowering 12/12. I also started vegging 8 others from bought beans. Sincle last week I put them all together...

Beans from HGS finally arrived today....yah!!! It took 5 weeks to the day it was posted by air mail from Canada to Oz, or 5 1/2 weeks from order. Beans look nice and healthy too. Gee, Canada Post must be the slowest mail service in the world. HGS also threw in 3 extra beans to cover the extra...
