Thanks a whole lot Cranker. My peat moss came with fungus gnats, all purpuse potting soil with whitefly, and my region is loaded with mosquitos and fruit flies. I'm going to start by ordering a few carniverous sundew plants. I'll have to make sure they don't get too much direct light. Do they...

Anyone have Mighty Wash resistant mites

I just want to have a miticide on hand that is likely to work when I need it. I am concerned about getting a Neem oil resistant breed of mite infestation. The only negative feedback about Mighty Wash I have read so far is from a hydroponic store operator who never used it before.

clones still looking beautiful. Going to try the 1" of white sand on top to block gnat movement read that it is effective elsewhere. Gnats feed on roots which is probably why I lost 5 plants about a month ago. Peat moss probably needed to be airated with 20% perlite too. Switching to all purpose...

Please Help with Plant Problems - w/ Pic's

For fertilizer burn use water without adding nutrients and for more severe cases flush clean water through pot. For spider mites use insectical soap such as Neem oil, azamax, floramite depending on what your mites are immune to already. Mighty Wash? 91% isopropyl alcohol(very flammable - lights...

Please Help with Plant Problems - w/ Pic's

On pic 5.jpg and pic 11.jpg I see light green speckles. Is there spider mites underneath those leaves. Also brown leaf tips indicate fertilizer burn might be caused by organic fertilizer reacting to hot weather. Organic fertilizer breaks down faster with heat.
