im thinking of buying an aerogarden myself, so im gonna be watching this grow. Hope it works out, but if it doesnt, hey you still got 3 seeds as backup :)
its a rented house, 2 floors, and im planning on setting it up in my attic, im gonna close off a space and vent directly outside, may have to set an a/c for the summer, but it doesnt get to to hot here in the summer. and yes i the house came with cfl's and energy star appliances lol, my landlord...
yeah i had a bunch of cfl's too, but i was in soil, i ]m thinking of switching to hydro with a 400watt flowering bulb, id really rather be safe than sorry. and since with one 400watt i could grow about 4 plants, rather than the one plant setup i have now.
anyone have any insight about this????
hey, im just wondering if anyone out there can tell me if there is a difference on your electric bill when you switch from a cfl setup to mh. Right now im running a 2x48" grolux flo's for veggin, and 4 26watt cfl's and 2 24" grolux for flowering. The reason im wondering is cause i rent my house...
the extra lights are bad cause there too damn close, ussually a plant grow towards a light, which causes them to be thin and stretched out, your are growing AWAY from the center lights, which should be your first clue that something is wrong. With a 400watt mh you can grow up to 4 plants easily...
do a search on organic ph up and down, like i said liquid ph up and down is chemical, although it doesnt hurt anything i highly recommende not using it unless your whole system is really out of whack, go the organic way on this. and yes buy a digital ph meter, itll save you alot of time and is a...
im not sure how much lemon juice, just go with 2 or 3 drops at first to see how much its lowered, if you go to low youll need to buy pool chemicals to bring it up, and i hate using chemicals, so just go real slow until you get an idea
i agree with that, ditch the extra lights, use only your 400watt mh, and lower that one a bit, ph your water and bring it down to 6.6-6.9, and when you start using nutes, dont forget to test your water AFTER the nutes are added. your plants should be fine after a few weeks of TLC
if your ph is over 7, you can use lemon juice to bring it down, its an organic alternative to using ph down. just make sure to let the water sit for a day before giving it your plants
anyone ever seen the movie a scanner darkly????? now thats a good trippy movie. I highly suggest ppl at least d/l. I watched it on my pc, then i went out and bought it lol
