Plant some basil. Not only will it take care of the flies, it’ll boost plant production.

Is FFOF “hot” or are people adding nutrients to soon making it hot? does It start off hot or does it turn itself hot as it breaks down. Some people add lime with better success. Given the lime takes a bit to breakdown, could be good timing in balancing out the soil (long term).
