Butane. Fill through bottom like a lighter.

Ive never used one of these "concentrate kits" (as they call them at my local head shop). I have the opportunity to pick one up for $30... comes with the male/male adapter, glass nail, dome, and a glass rod with little balls on the end.

How much do these go for average? Is $30 too much for one? what if its a none brand name china glass would it still be worth picking up? I know i could upgrade the glass nail anytime i wanted too and im not worried about china glass breaking... im UBER careful with my glass and dont travel with it unless its a cheapy glass piece i can toss in a ditch if i have to... Some of my pieces i keep for years upon years before i part ways with them either kick down or breaking it... i break about 3 pieces a year.. just broke my first this year but its a toss away so i wasnt expecting it to last long... 9 months is a good run for a thin toss away yeah?

sorry, back on topic... couple more questions... what is the difference between glass quartz and titanium. well besides the obvious that they are different materials lol.... why does one perform better than the other is basically what im getting at. im really excitied to use one the only problem is theres no hash around so i have to make my own BHO which isnt a problem really... just expensive... a gram of headies gets me one FAAAAT rip of oil. Do these work with other types of hash too, like full melt bubble or screen sift?

Stay away from glass or quartz nails. Only use Titanium nails or skillets. They work best with wax, oil, putty or budders.
Full melt bubble hash or kief doesn't work well and can leave ash and residue behind. The whole point is to get away from any and all plant matter. Check out the "Extracts and Concentrates" forum elsewhere on this board.

My daily driver for oils

I made the adapter and pencil dabber.

Titanium is the way to go,

so is not having to hold your torch

Phire glass dome, male glass adapter, titanium nail, glass dabber, and a badass Vector Nitro torch

The dabs really make me feel the need to cough though lol
