im wondering if there is any info on the effects of herb on diabetics. any studies available?

i have had type 1 diabetes for about 10 years now... and have been smoking for about 5 years.

any info would be greatly appreciated.

i am not a doctor, i can't even remember where i heard it but i'm pretty sure i heard that marijuana lowers blood sugar and thats why you get the munchies. Maybe take your sugar before and after smoking and see if it has any change.

i have been diabetic for over 21 years(i am 23), and have been smoking weed for about 7.i have tested my sugar throughout the smoking process for results, and have found it does indeed lower blood sugar levels, however, watch those munchies!

i have determined from personal research that the use of cannibis to be quite usefful in controling the nutritional side of the disease even up to and helping lower your blood preassure, hunger management and stress relief. my water retention from copd is even more active. i have lost as much as 12 lbs in a day while using edible cannibis products.
