I looked through the threads and can't find much info about obtaining a medical card in CO. I found tons of info on California but little on Colorado. I am having trouble finding info. Would my back pain qualify me in Colorado i saw "Severe Pain" on the list. Any info would be great thanks

Herbologist, I looked at the PDF, but have a few questions.
I\'m trying to secure a card, but Im wondering exactly how to do that? Do I ask my current doctor to sign something? Or does your company have doctors that will sign something? I have chronic insomnia, and nausea. I have been trying an assortment of sleep aids, but none have been right, and most have increased the nausea and vomiting and had other negative effects. Cannabis helps with both nausea, and insomnia. And it is the only thing with success. These should be recorded by my doctor now, what is the next step I take? |

All you need to do is tell your Dr your situation and always be honest ,Explain to him how your body accepts weed over pills and that you want to try natural remedies .you should always approach your primary Dr first he or she has a working relationship with you and history of your conditions.Remember a recommendation is not a prescription.

No scamming lacy Just got lots of info on medical marijuana in Colorado. The list of accepted illness' is much shorter than California or some other states. Chronic pain is the most accepted way to get a card in Colorado at this point. Some other conditions are not yet accepted unless they can be proven as "chronic" to the health department. I suffer from severe back pain at times however sometimes not so I'm not sure if this would qualify as "chronic" under Colorado law. I'll update you when I get more info and see my doctor again. Its kind of a sad state of affairs in many states as doctors take personal risks by recommending cannabis to patients.

Looks pretty good for colorado and many hospitals... \"Attorneys for Kaiser Permanente in Colorado have given its doctors a tentative green light to endorse medical marijuana use for qualified patients.\"
Bet they always try to suggest a perscription drug before MM though. |
