1st off big ups to RI for just passing a law for state-sponsored compassion centers!

i am from a state in the NE and only a short trip from RI. i was wondering if anyone on this board is an RI medi patient and could share some helpful experiences such as how to get a scrip, because there is no NORML RI doctor listings as of yet, and if one feels comfortable enough what condition you have that got you your card.

What is your condition? I have MS and my neurologist had no prob signing the form.....

i dont have anything too too serious, major bummer. in Cali you can get it for stuff like depression, anxiety, even irritable bowel syndrome.

Happy, RI never passed the compassion center bill. It passed senate 29-6 i believe, and ended up not passing the house. It will be up for review again in February. More info here. Rhode Island General Assembly > Press Releases

I'm trying to get a card in RI...problem is my doc is in MA. By the way IBS is an "acceptable" condition in RI for a card...hopefully migraine headaches are too.

I have been self medicating for several years. I have IBS and Colorado just passed the okay for Medical marijuana. Working on going thru the hoops to get my card.

Good luck to anyone trying to get their card wherever they live. Wish you all well.
