Be very careful who you invite. Set up rules in advance. You'll need entry fees $$$ to pay for the rental of benches, chairs and tents. Also, who's gonna do the cooking/catering? Who's gonna clean up? What are the sleeping arrangements? Also, everyone who's invited will have to bring a sample of his/her best growing efforts. You'll need a gram for everyone who's entered into the contest. So, if there are 35 entrants, you'll need 35 grams. Each person will receive a "judging kit" made up of the various samples. This way, everyone who's entered will go home with a sample bag of 35 different strains to sample. Again ... be VERY careful who you invite and have the rules set in advance.

1. No alcohol.
2. No drugs other than marijuana.
3. Guys are to treat the women with respect at all times. No ass grabbing.
4. No stealing.
5. No fighting.

If this sounds like I've had experience with events like this, its because I have. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't mature enough pull their own weight and to see things through to the end.

FINALLY, a local steps up.

i'm thinking SMALL for the first event. a few locals maybe. nothing huge. no venue hall, just a handful or to of us meeting in a central location. it can grow from there. medical cards would be a MUST HAVE!!! i don't like the thought of prison!! this would be a late spring early summer event , maybe?

That sounds like fun man. U should do it and if it's successful turn it into a yearly thing. I'll come next yr for sure if there's one, right now i'm growing from bagseed so i would b too embarrassed to come.

very true man. i've seen some pretty dank weed grown from bagseeds too so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
