Hey everyone

I have had chronic stomach pains and a bunch of other symptoms for a couple of years now and I just got to the conclusion that I have severe anxiety.

does MJ really help anxiety? and what is the best strain for this purpose (to relax, but still be able to function throughout the rest of the day)?

Go and try some G13 if you can get some. Mr. Nice will work too (hashplantxG13). I don't know but I just had some and it was great. Very uplifting. Maybe try DJ Short Motovation or Flo,

Its strange how train wreck is sativa but good for anxiety.

any of the og kush strains work great

wat ever you do dont smoke sativas. Iv anxiety and sativas only worsen the anxiety.

Similar experience with sativa's, suffered periodically with acute anxiety and panic disorder and found the cerebral high of sativa only worsens the problem. I stick to a minimum 75%/25% indicas now. Try Master Kush or Afghan Kush for anxiety it works for me- only prob is I cant be arsed to go for a piss!!!

Honestly, my true favorite for anxiety would have to be Blue Dream, man when I am sitting somewhere feeling my pulse race and have trouble getting air, I walk away take a few tokes off of some Blue Dream and calm myself back down, It is the best!
