Exercise works great, but for me it only helps for the next hour or two after words ....

It's also very difficult to get to a treadmill in the middle of a workday, when anxiety and stress hit me the hardest

for depression a sativa might work as they ussually give you more energy because of low c.b.d. 'daytime smoke' on the other hand if your issue is anxiety you dont want stimulating effects a strong indica is best because of there sedative abilities because of high levels of c.b.d. 'nighttime smoke'. be carefull listening to doctors there not always correct but people put total trust in them because they have the title doctor this is dangerous.

im not sayin your wrong but i been to phsychiatrists and therapists. many psychiatrists and many medications actually. it depends on who you are on what medications work and dont work. i have found weed to be my only help. i dont like the side effects of most of the medications i was taking. im also not living in a state that allows medical marijuana use. if i did live in these states i could find the correct type of strain that helps me and beable to give better advice.

from what my phsychiatrists have told me is if you take a medication that isnt the right one then its possible that it will do more harm then good. the best advice i can give is that only you will know what medication works and which ones dont. thats why doctors monitor these sort of things w/ their patients. really i dont think it will be easy to even find a specific strain. i would assume your not to familiar w/ buying this stuff on the streets because ppl will say shit like "its sour diesel" even though its not just so theycan make a $1. depending on how worried you are about your anxiety depends on whether or not you want to 1. move to a state w/ med use marijuana and get the correct medication 2. trust a street dealer 3. grow your own medication.

you can try researching yourself. like if you got a specific disorder in anxiety and/or depression that was diagnosed by a doctor just go online and find out what meds are usually prescribed for that specific thing. then find out if you need an increase in serotonin or dopamine. everyones different.

i would never even consider using most of these overprescribed medications anti anxiety/anti-depresents i was put on these as a kid they are very bad and make everything worse i wish i had never listened to the 'doctors' who prescribed these but i was young. i have seen these really change people in a negative way. they really kill creativity and other aspects of personality that makes someone unique. i have lost friends because of these drugs. i educate myself and make my own decisions based on experience i do not like pychiatrists or most doctors i feel they are arrogant and under educated on the subjects they are supposed to understand. besides cannabis(indicasw/ high c.b.d. ratio) i use natural compounds for mental well being such as amino acids minerals magnesium citrate etc..etc... and various herbs combined with a good diet and excercise i promise this is much more effective with no side effects or physical addiction. try going cold turkey off of pych meds and you will have big problems. i really find the western way of handling mental illness to be very sickening and i feel very bad for people who put there total trust in someone simply because they carry a title. i have personally experienced the prescribed drug way on myself and many others and the natural proper approach. i have not taken any pharmaceuticals for many years and any issues i had are much better controlled using the methods i mentioned.
