i just cant sleep at NIGHT. Ive never been able to. Once daylight rolls around tho...i crash. go figure

Hi all,
ive had stomach problems for about 5yrs now, getting progressively worse. i wake up in pain, every timei eat im in pain (which makes me not wantto eat so i haveto force myself) 'women's prolems' are horrendous for me and at one timei was on 14 pills a day from the doc, even though they dont know whats wrong with me. they have called it IBS now cause they have ruled out everything else and cant find whats wrong. my stomach is basically in connstant spasms. not one lot of pills over the 5 years has helped and now the doctors act like im just wasting their time, and want meto go away. having a smoke almost instantly relieves this. i have to smoke practically all day and till bed time, but not huge amounts at a time and im like a new woman! ive decided to try growing as i hate having to hang around the dealers that used tolive in my area. some were real scary people and i jsut cant afford to buy. also there have been so many busts of the well known dealers that i cant find any to buy!
for me it means i can just live a normal life. i walk more upright, i can eat properly,sleep properly and its the only thing that gets me through the day. obviously living in constant pain can get me frustrated and down, but a smoke helps with that too, so its a win/win situations for me,,,, when i can get any that is! the hardest thing for me is running out, as the pain returns within about a day and it is like getting ill all over again. the pain hits me like a ton of bricks, and so lets hope my babies grow and stop this life of bloody pain!!!!! on a less down note, you lot are stars on here, where else can you find people with such knowledge and understanding in one place???? its my lucky day finding this site! now all i need is to find a joint,lol xxxxx

general aches and pains as well as cronic back pain and spasms.

indica makes a reaaaaally good sleep aid.

It helps me sleep, and eat normaly. i can also concentrate better on marijuana. i think i should get a med card

I'm a fellow MS sufferer and i smoked before i was diagnosed. The prescription medication i was prescribed made me feel like a zombie so binned that and now i just use weed to get me through it.

yeah it will dehydrate you, but not that much, all you need is a glass of water, or pop. even if you toke a fat blunt and go without water for hours ur not going to be harmed.... just really thirsty.
nothing like Exstacy.... THAT IS VERY BAD.

smoke a lot drink, as much water as you can, then see just how yellow your urine is the next day.

I have bipolar and smoking marijuana in minor doses (I do well with about .5 oz/mo dosing) makes me feel like a normal person. I don't have episodes at all while I have enough THC in my system. A proper sleep schedule is very important when dealing with bipolar. I have always had difficulty sleeping since I was a kid. marijuana can slow my thoughts enough to get to sleep. Something I have difficulty with even with meditation. I have a thread on bipolar & cannibus for more information and details about how regular medicines have never worked for me.

And as far as dehydration, The THC does not itself dehydrate you. It's the accelerated metabolism that produces "cotton mouth" Just drink a little water. Honestly for the dehydration to cause serious effects on one's body the marijuana consuption would be far above medical dosing and even if you pain was so bad you needed that much weed, just drink water =)
