Hello, I am Dr. Michael Coots, and I want to start and Medical Marihjuana Clinic in N. Cali, maybe in around or in the Mendicino County area, someplace pretty much relaxed and left alone.

I have asked several source with vague and/or mixed responses and directions, so to you all, can you give me some info?

Yeah, I too was wondering how to open a co-op. I know you have to collect 215 reccomendations of whoever you intend to supply medicine to. I am not sure what else, I have been to some co-ops that charge sales tax so I am wondering if you have to register as a non profit organisation or a business. I am not sure but would like any info that is out there.

ive looked for the same info, I heard of Dr's getting arrested for writing an Rx, i'm not sure what to beleive in the state vs federal laws....let me know how it works out

Well prop 215 is not an rx. It is a reccomendation and in ca you are legally allowed to be reccomended to smoke pot. We want to know how to open a co-op not write it on a rx which doen't make any sense. I guess the question is how do you collect others reccomendations to be able to open a co op
