My Father was just laying down and had some bad cramps near his inner right thigh then another cramp not long after the previous cramp started on the opposite side then they went down to the top of his feet and around the front and backsides of his knees? If anyone has any input on this id appreciate it, I know a blood clot in between his heart and the arteries going down to his legs can cause a lot of pain but im not sure if they would feel like cramps but other then that ive heard marijuana being a great muscle relaxer has anyone heard or tryed smoking marijuana to relieve cramp attacks?

Yes, I have ... in fact, its what I've based my medical use on. I have a neuropathic disease with cramping symptoms similar to those suffered by MS patients.

There are strains of cannabis that are more helpful than others. The very best that I've found is "Ultimate Indica" by the breeder that goes by the name of "Legends." Two or three tokes, wait a few minutes, and the cramping is gone. Trouble is ... its a real couch-lock strain that puts you to sleep in short order too. That's great if you suffer from insommnia ... but not so great if you just want to enjoy the high. That's why a lot of us grow several strains at a time.
