Anyone ever heard of someone getting raided by the police in California for growing marijuana even know they had a Medical marijuana Doctors Note, Card and Growing Certificate? Howed it turn out?

I have not heard, However most counties and local police have set standard minimums. In my county, the standard is 6 Mature Plants and 8 or 10 (forgot which) ounces of dried bud, or 9 immature plants and NO BUD. But if you are growing major the FEDS step in and then there is no protection since they do not respect the state statutes. Check California - NORML
for the local statue for your area unless you are way above that then you are Federal and FUcked

Yes ... we had a local guy who got busted twice. Both times, he was over the county limit by quite a few plants. He had an indoor grow and an outdoor grow. He was busted as a result of a police helecoptor fly-over.

No he was busted because he was greedy and didn't stay within the legal limits provided. It is people like that who are screwing up legal medical marijuana for the rest of us.

Ya I agree Mogie, luckily the only two people in my household have medical marijuana so together we can legally flower 12 plants at a time. Sounds like I shouldnt have anything to worry about the state trying to pull some bullshit on me inless I go over the limit. Oh uh not that Im growing...

I'm a medical marijuana card holder in Colorado and when I first started growing under the states law I found the three vegging plants and three flowering (state law) was not enough to help with my problems let alone enough to get me from one grow to the next. So I went way over the limit by oh, let's say by over hundred or so plants. Now days however I stick to the limit since prison terms start at 4 years. I like freedom better than pot!

So in all states where they have medical marijuana laws they all pretty much are the same when getting busted.

1. If you hold a medical marijuana card or a like and get busted for growing, and you have the legal limit or less they will throw the case out.

2. State laws do protect you, your grow, and all of your equipment, if of course you were growing according to the state laws in your area. State laws in all medical marijuana states (from what I have learned), states that the feds and or the police must becareful with all your stuff, including your plants if you stated upfront, and right away that you are a medical marijuana user and that you hold (and show) a state certified card or a like. State laws also state that you have a legal right to get all your stuff back in undamaged condition. They can not kill your plants or bust up your equipment or your house or your grow room.

And on one last note:
Fly overs and the use of infared sensor done by flyovers or on the ground are a violation of your 4th admendment rights. Google search for Kelly vs State of Oregon for more information on this matter. You'll be amazed at what legal rights you do have.
