Just wondering if there are any medical patients with lung conditions. I myself have multiple conditions and am having a hard time finding a clean way to smoke. I do own a vaporizer but it is still not 100% user friendly for a guy like me. I find I still cough and weez and end up gasping for air after sessions with the vaporizer and I never burn the material. I run my vap around 350 - 370 F (180-190 C) with the whip and around 320 to 340 F (160 to 170 F) when using the bag with forced air.

Now I have smoked near pure THC extract (BHO) and I find it to be quite clean, especially when used in combination with a vape, but I just have a hard time getting my hands on it and I don't grow anymore to have the shake to make it.

I am kust looking for some feedback or some advice and would love to hear from other users with lung conditions. The lab results for vaporizers are so limited it is ridiculous. I would like to hear your thoughts.

I have some lung conditions after having a lung collapse at random, I have not lost that much of my ability to smoke.

I do recommend medicating via edibles, pills, etc and making your own - if you ever need help thinking of recipes, feel free to send me a PM and we'll share ideas...

Thank you for your response GrowTech, I also had my lung collapse on me, x-rays were done and no bone splinters or fragments were found astray so I had a CT-scan done and found I have emphysema and some other lung "abnormality". Since it happened I have not been breathing the same and am in need of some healthier options.

Do you find edibles to be efficient? It seems like it would be quite pricy if you are more than just a weekender, if you know what I am saying.

Also, do you have problems breating on a day-to-day basis? I was a heavy smoker and toker for the better part of a decade, I quit smoking when my lung collapsed (months ago) and never started back up. I even quit smoking marijuana and went out and bought a good north American made vaporizer and have been using it since.

I have heard about these pills. Being called Canna-Gels I think. They are a "standard" dose of "budder" (which is said to be regular oil whipped at a low speed and heat???) in a capsule with some grapeseed oil for proper digestion. Anyone tried these?

Making edibles seems so costly and inefficient to me, but I would still like to hear your thought GT, and anyone else for that matter

no lung conditions, and don't want to acquire any
so i do use a vaporizer, just a DIY one i built from the DIY subforum here
it's the halogen bulb one, i find it really good
don't have a thermometer, but seems to provide a very gentle experience
to me, it doesn't feel like i've smoked at all

Maybe I am running my vap too hot. Everyone I know who has a vap run it a lot hotter than me, some even run it at the highest temp their vape will go.

I've been having a hard time finding a precise value for which THC vaporizes, it doesn't seem like many stoners have scientific labs at their disposle. Its bullshit because our government has aproved it for medical use and doctors will reccomend it yet we know nothing about it.

i do see a 'steam', i do about 4-5 hits off one bowl - it did takes some time to find the 'zone'

you could get perscibed marinol pills(thc pills)

making edibles, pills, etc is not an expensive option... you can purchase bags of trim and make your own, grow plants and use their trim, and buds to make oil and butter.

limitless options really... if you look on google for cannabrex pill kits or cannabutter recipes you will find lots of different things you can make.

you can also purchase butter at some clubs.

From what I understand (I am no scientist) Marinol is synthetic... No thanks...lol

I guess what I am wondering with the edibles is how much, let's say, mid-grade would it take to get a decent buzz for a couple hours? Do you "extract" it in oil or fat? I have only ever done it once and I used 1/4 ounce per person so I have always had the memory of it being an expensive night

Has anyone had experience with pills? not synthetic but extracted.
