Default Medical in Oregon for ADHD?
Hey all! I've found information on Cali being very ADD/ADHD friendly in terms of referring people that suffer with this psycological ailment, but I am unclear on whether or not Oregon fits this into it's criteria for accepting people into the medicinal program. I've been reviewing the accepted debilitating conditions that Oregon accepts as reasons for getting your mmjl card, and I believe I fit in the categories for muscle spasms, severe pain, and nausia.

I have 15 years of written, documented, history from what ADHD has done with me. I have been a guinie pig to have Ridelin, Stratera, Adderal and Adderal XR during this time. I in no way condone the use of stimulants to combat ADHD and feel that the easiest and most reasonable way to help people like me control such a diblitating condition would be to vaperize herbs and eat edibles.

I was 18 when I stopped paying for my meds (the pills) when my medicare ran out. When I was 19 I enrolled in a Job Corps program and was given almost a year of adderall before I refused the pills. I have not seen a doctor for this condition in 3 years.

My plan was to return to a doctor and have them get my paper work from Job Corps (who was the last to see me about this issue) and have the new doctor reacess me. With the current ailments that I am experiencing, I have seriously fallen under the conclusion that ADHD becomes more detrimental to the mental and physical health of it's victum as they grow older.

I was just recommended a nearby doctor that a friend of mine is seeing for ADD, but he has just started seeing this doc and has not yet pushed the subject of whether or not this guy will give a referral. I am wonder that should I start seeing this doc, even if I can't get him to give me the referral---if I get enough documented ailments filled out, if I could take this to, say, the MAMA clinic in Oregon and if they could turn that into a referral...? What would be the best way for me to go about this situation? I feel like I could help bring awareness of this situation to light in oregon and bring relief to many people here that suffer from a similiar diagnosis.

Thank you for reading my massive wall of text and thank you for any answers that could be given.

Too long/don't want to read:

I have ADHD and haven't seen a doc yet about my situation, but have 15 years of written history by doctors and psycologists, up until 3 years ago. If I was to restart my visits and reget adderall XR for a time, could I push the issue do to intense migrains and muscle spasms, among other side effects from the drugs that the docs prescribe me, to get referred in Oregon as a medicinal marijuana patient?

Anyone from oregon have any info on this? Even if you just want to drop a message saying good luck would be nice. I'm fairly sure I have this, but I want to be armed with the information knowing that I'll get my med card before I even walk into the clinic, would be just about the sickest thing in the world. Any help would be appreciated

If nobody has any information on this, would my best bet be seeing a doctor about a carpel tunnel condition in my wrist versus attempting for my ADHD?

Default Adhd
Oregon does not give out cards for ADHD. Sorry. They do give out cards for any kind of "Chronic pain" Ouch my shit hurts!!! That is ll ya gotta remember. Back pain, joint pain, migraine's, Collen spasms, Any kind of muscle spasms. It's really easy to get a card here. And since they are about 6 months behind your paper work is your temporary card till they issue your permanent card. The year doesn't start till they issue your permanent card. So you actually get about a year ans a half!!!

Ok, sounds like I need to read up on some conditions. The best way to call in sick at school, so to speak, is to remember all the symptoms to the flu so that you could have a few days off lol

Back pain sounds like something I could work with. I've got a few bills I need to pay this month, before I can start dropping cash to a DR.

Any idea how much doctor visits cost these days w/o med insurance? Like $250 or something, eh?

I'll start on this thing the first of december and see if I can't join the ranks of humble hippies and tokers alike by the start of the new decade.

Can anyone confirm this?? If I processed my paper work, I could go home and should I get raided the next day----I just show the officers a photocopy of my paperwork and they will tell me to "Have a nice day."?

No asthma either. They tell you right when you get your paper work about the lag and how your paperwork is like a temporary registration ;then they stamp it with the date and time and your good. I wouldn't tell you that if it were not true. What kind of ass hole would that make me if i said some shit like that and you got popped? Focus on pain symptoms. if you have any questions you can download the rules from the Oregon DHS website. Or you can go to the THCF web site. Which is where you should have gone first instead of asking around here. Since you felt you had to get a second opinion.

Woh, sounds like some hostility there. I meant no offense, it's just that nobody here is a lawyer so if someone else vouched for what you said then to me, that would be legit. I try not to just go on the impulse of what one person says anymore, that tends to get me in trouble. Thanks for backing it up though. I figure I'll go in for back pains and see where that takes me.

I'm sorry I wasn't trying to be an ass hole. I just get frustrated when I try to help people out and they doubt me. I am not the kind of guy to spit out bad info that will get people busted. If I don't ABSOLUTELY KNOW I will say so or i won't even answer the thread. I have been dealing with OMMP for 4 years now done this a few times. Sorry again about the Edgy tone in my posts I am smoking resin right now and I haven't had a cigarette in 2 days. So you should go to the THCF Clinic on NE 18th and I think its Everett you can get all the info strait from the horses mouth
