My problem is my normal family doc isn't against me taking medicinal Mj but he doesn't know how to prescribe it so he won't.
Does anyone know a doc in The GTA ( Toronto, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Mississauga and Brampton) that will prescribe medicinal MJ to a very sick person and i even have a recommendation from My Pain Clinic Doc to give to my family doc but he is not willing to do the work to help me.

Help on this would be greatly appreciated!

I wish i could help you, i went with a person who had several GP's recommendations that she be allowed MJ and the Toronto Western Neurology clinic (best in Canada) turned her down even though she's being evicted from her home because her prescription medication consume all of her income and leave her $1500 short each month. She can't even get the meds' she is being prescribed. It clearly the position of the hospital to put profits before ethics. They can't make any money of MJ, but make millions from the drug companies each year because they prescribe their drugs! What a fucking joke!!!

So if u can find one let me know.

when a person is forced to live on the streets and be forced into bankruptcy because of a medical illness, this is not Canada. this is US of A style of profit before humans.

Well i feel really sorry for your friend! Its not fair the THC pills they give me are the only thing that helps me eat but they are $1000 a month who can afford that and my pain medications are over $1500 a month so right there thats more then $2500 a month for my drugs alone. I don't know how they expect people to be able to pay for that. There's no way the average person can afford that and a home or even food! I don't know why they wont just take the time to prescribe people the right medication and in this case its marijuana which helps me in more ways then one and can help many other people to!

If your doc says he don;t know thats a cop out... take him the Health Canada forms... pre fill them in except for dosage. Current limit is 1-5 g per day... suggest 2 or 3 and it shouldnt be a huge prob....
