Hi got my med card a couple weeks back and the doc said i could have 6 mature plants or if I can proove that I only use edibles and do not smoke the MJ I can have 49 mature plants. Please someone shine a light of knowledge on this matter I want to get my facts straight.

im not sure, check google, didnt you get any papers saying that sorta stuff like what you can and cant do? sorry, im not from ca so all i can say is to google it or check your paperwork or maybe try to see if they have a website that tells you what ya can or cant do? i suppose though, its probally dependent on your condition and how much meds your doctor says ya need? im not from a state that is mmj approved.......yet, they cant fight it forever, eventually they will have to give in and allow it, i hope.

If you use edibles some doctors will give you a recommendation for growing a higher amount. (99 plants)

I've been searching for the same answers. All I've found are training seminars so far. It seems this info is hush-hush and you got to pay for it. I think it's worth the investment.

I am in cali and last I was able to find the state laws are 6 mature or 12 immature and 8oz processed. Cities and counties do their own take on it too. Luckily the guidelines I saw for my area are 100 sq ft canopy space w/ plants of any stage and 3# of processed bud (not including anything on the plants in your 10'x10' area). I won't get anywhere close to that amount, but do more searches. I think here they just don't want to have to put the time and resources in on busting anything other than large scale commercial and we have a big outdoor crowd here so they just calculated it off of reasonable use per year.
