i live in washington state and this is my story. sorry if its a little boring, but i appreciate you taking the time to read, and hopefully give me some answers!

hey so i have a back injury that i have had for about 4 years now. i have pain every day. i have 2 buldging disc's and facet syndrome. the facet syndrome is degenerative, so basically i am s.o.l. haha. i have done physical therapy, chiropractic, epidural back injections, acupuncture, massage and taken oral cortizone. i have done all this multiple times and nothing has changed. the back injections helped for a couple months, but i cant have anymore for years because they are so hard on your body.

but here is my problem. i was taking opiates for years and those led to an addiction that i just barley escaped.

i really want to obtain my medical marijuana card. but i need to go back to my doctor because all my paperwork is too old and need to get newer paperwork saying that i still have a problem..... (which is actually funny because these problems dont go away)

so before i go back to the doctor i have a question for anyone who already has their permit.

Is it likely that i will get a doctors reccomendation when i am only 20 years old?? i have a friend who claimed anorexia and some how actually got his.. and he isnt even skinny.

i just have a feeling that since i am only 20 that the doctors wont want to give me medical cannabis. which is stupid because doctors were handing me addicting pain meds like candy.


any answers to my question would be greatly appreciated. i just wanted to get some opinions from all of you out there who have been through something like this.

i also have severe muscle spasms in my back. and have all this documented in my medical records

and one more thing! doctors say that they will not do surgery because the risk is too great. and i dont want to take the risk of being parylized

just check your states requirements. most doc's will give you one given your history. Good Luck!!!

Your 20, they will give you problems. But CBR will do it. A friend of mine is 20 and she was denied even a appointment at other places like thc and wanted parents to sign off due to under 21 etc. I have my card also due to back issues etc and I am in Washington state. If you go to a clinic you just need some doctors records showing you have a issue that qualifies and pay the fee. CBR was cool and I will use them next year to update my card. Most doctors don't want to take the risk of approving someone, so clinics are pretty much the only way to go and they use Doctors that are in favor of using medical mary j over opiats. I know the laws in WA state and they are very iffy. Also, the places Will not talk to you about where you can get any medical mj. Basically WA says grow your own, which is fine if seeds were available, so you still have to go out of state to get seeds, but at least a pound and 1/2 is legal to have and 15 plants, so is a good #. I also know these clincs cards hold up in Washington courts. If you need any more info feel free to IM me. Good Luck!
