Hi everyone.

My names Tierney, Im a recreational cannabis user from Ireland.

My mother suffers from an auto-immune disease called Uveitis, Which primarily results in the breakdown of the vitrous humour within the eye itself.

This causes constant pressure/pain in her eyes due to severe inflammation.

She began to notice symptoms about 5 years ago and has been on a rapid decline since.

She now has severe eye damage and about -50% sight.

She has constant medical treatment which has had NO positive effect whatsoever besides "slowing" down the results of the disease. (Whilst causing arguably worse problems.)

She has been in constant pain with about 4 years, no pain meds have adequetly relieved her pain and even the ones that help have many unwanted side effects including constant Diarreoha, nausea and joint pain.



I've recently encouraged her to try cannabis with me which she has agreed to do so.

This is all very new to me altough I have an understanding of Biology and to an extent cannabis.

Basically im looking for any Helpful information, personal experiences or anything at all that could be of help.

There are some very knowledgable people on this forum and I need your help!
