My friend who has a med card recently got me some oil from a dispensary and i was instructed to put it under my tongue. Him and another acqaintance who has migraines who wants to try mj to see if it helps would like me to make some oil for them that they could use. I have a recipe in one of my mags that shows a recipe for "tincture" it says to put under the tongue but it takes 2 months. I saw some THC oil and honey oil recipes online that utilize alchohol that take only a few hours but nowhere in the description do they mention putting it under your tongue only info on how to smoke the oil.

Are the oils and tinctures the same thing? If not does anyone have a quick recipe for this substance?

i think that is a typo i have always heard for a any kind of oil or acl. exctrat its around 1-2 hours. theres no way anything that goes under your tongue would take 2 months.

No you are only suppose to put tincture under your tongue you cant smoke it. It is completely different that has oil, which is smoked in a pipe or whatever. Tincture is generally made by putting trimmings, shake, or whatever in a jar with around 75% alcohol such as everclear. You let it ferment in the jar say in your closet for about 2 months. And thats it. There is a boiling method as well. My brother said he got some tinture and it burnt a hole in his mouth it was so strong, so you probably want to dtick with the 75% stuff so it wont burn lol. Good luck
