Hello everyone. I'll be new card holder towards the end of July and am looking for some potential resources and help to get started.

I suffer from chronic nausea, abdominal pain, and have some other severe GI issues at times. Overall I am looking for information on a strain that might be best suited for this. I have a family member with a bit of a green thumb who has offered to work on getting a grow plan lined out and grow for me but at the same time I almost wonder if it wouldn't be a better idea to try and find an actual local grower that grows for other patients and work out details with that person. Part of it has to do with budget and getting a grow box built, as well as other materials like chemicals, etc, since the actual cost of clinic and state fees kill the possibility of obtaining medicine for a little bit of time right off the bat.

Ultimately the desired goal is for myself and my family member to grow my medicine but I am open to other growers potentially growing for me, the details involved, etc, or even if a local grower has clones available for a sooner start than germinating seeds bought from a bank and starting from scratch. If we do proceed to grow on our own I'll most likely be getting some seeds from a bank for a specific strain or two to go along with anything else going.

I know that as of right now Oregon doesn't have dispensaries like in California and the resources are a tad limited unless you live in the Portland area and have access to the main clinic offices. I'm located in Central Oregon, so if there is anyone local or somewhat close who might have a way to help in any way, that would be totally awesome. I'm looking forward to posting here and learning as I go, but also to talk to some good people too. I'd like to also touch basis with other medical patients locally as I think we all have a common bond in more than one way and I think that a community effort of local patients would help everyone in the long run too in case one of us might run into an issue with bugs, theft, or any other negative things that might spring up.

Everything is good now. I am just now starting out. If anyone local to Central Oregon might be able to help with clones or even grow advice please let me know. I am all ears and eager to learn.

there are list of different strains for differnt problems i cant rember but im pretty sure it was either blueberry or super silver haze that was said to help stomach problems
