Hello, I was just curious if anyone knows the legal process to finding patients to grow for? I currently live in a state that does not allow medical marijuana. I feel that I could help people by growing different varieties of highly medicinal herb for medical patients that can't grow for themselves. I can understand why someone would rather use marijuana medicaly other than take narcotics, or other perscription drugs that might have unfavorable side effects.
There are a few locations I would like to relocate to either Tigard, OR, Portland, OR, Medford, OR, or somewhere in Northern California like Shasta County. If there is any member that either needs, or knows someone who needs, a caregiver to grow their medicinal herb please feel free to contact me. I like to chat and meet new people when I have time.

they got to list you as a caregiver, or you can apply for a grow permit, then again, they asign you their caregiver. Talk to some of the other dispensary peeps(herbologist) is one for good info, though herb resides in colo springs. But i bet they can help find more info for you on the subject.

seeing as how this is still a touchy subject in all medical states(im a medical user in socal) its going to be hard to find people to authorize you as there caregiver. usually these are people you know or in the case of a medical co op the patients joining your co op sign a contract authorizing you to grow plants for them..it gets deeper but most of it is on a permission slip contract and keeping these slips in plain view in your op and staying very legal.

pretty much in order for you to get a lot of ppl to make you their caregiver they need to be able to see that you can produce the great medicine that they need soo badly .... and for you to do that you need to get your own medical license and grow your plants legit and BOMB....!!! you have to have a nice clean set-up... you need to show them that u can grow that nice dense sticky-icky green with lots of bomb trichs on them.... i know you have heard the saying "IF YOU BUILD IT, THEY WILL COME"..... i know me... i wouldnt give up my right so someone can grow some half ass fluffy aired out no name strainin a dirty garage with bugs and animal hair grown in 100 degree weather with some cfls putting off 1 ounce together for all 6 of my plants.... not saying thats how YOU do it cuz i dont know at all ... but just ask ur self if you would... prob not.... you know what i mean... so either move and get ur card and start ur dream grow or grow illegale for a lil bit until you get ur shit good enough that u know ppl would buy for you then go and get shit right in the correct state...... i know this isnt how to get a caregiver but just a few things to think about first

It's not a cop, another young un with a dream but if you are wanting to make money in the grow buziness it's not here in oregon you need to load up the wagon and head to california where they can do more than 6 plants per person and more than growing for only 3 people beside yourself max and where they have an open market to sell to and where the state doesn't specifically phohibit making a profit from selling it as they do here.
Barking up the wrong tree with oregon as your first choices, there's one place to be and only a few counties too not the whole state of california.

I don't think he was wanting to make money. He did mention that he wanted to help people out with his growing abilities. He also mentioned OR a number of times as well as Shasta County. Well let me tell you this right now, right now in LA County we have more Medical marijuana co-ops then we do Starbucks. That is not an exaggeration. There are more co-ops in Los Angeles then Starbucks, almost all of the co-ops buy from the same vendors. It is not a way to make money, the market is so over saturated. If you want to grow just to help people out then head to OR or CO. You will also have to talk to other co-ops and do some research on the kinds of permits you need. I am going to be opening a CO-OP in Pasadena, California. My friends dad asked me if he fronted the cash if I would open the shop up and run it for him.
