After I see my doc, get my papers signed, and send them in with my fee for the registry. How long before I can go to the dispenseries in colorado to obtain some meds for myself?? I have been working with my reg phys, as well as my psych, and am finally getting where I need to be in this mess. Just curious about the average time it takes...

Once you have the paperwork signed by the Dr you are legal. Most if not all dispensaries will let you get meds with only the application in hand. Hopefully you kept a copy for yourself.
To receive the actual card is taking about 30-35 days. The law states that if you don't receive anything from the state within 35 days, you are considered legal until otherwise notified.

yep, your legal with your paperwork while your waiting for your card.

CANNAMED sells their patients $50 "Certificates" while they are waiting for their cards.
They tell their patients they are not legal without it!
CANNAMED is the worst thing to happen to Colorado

I would also recommend sending by certified mail. Cost about 2.00 and then you have proof that you sent it in and when.
Just a thought and the state actually recommends doing that as well.

Yeah I knew that was bullshit but I did get my papers signed within a week because I had all my transcripts. I haven't heard any better about THCfoundation... I was happy with Cannamed
