I live in California and have a medical card. I'm getting into growing and I was wondering if someone with some knowledge could give me some basic info. Could you just go into a club with a sample and ask them if they want to buy from you? How much are clubs looking for, for example are they looking for just a few pounds every crop or much more than that, like in the 20-30 range? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Don't post if you don't know what your talking about please. And be honest, if it's a shady, cutthroat business like I think it might be, than tell me. Thanks.

In my experience, it is possible to become a vendor but there are a number of considerations:
Starting with 20-30 is way out of the question. First of all that is considered illegal and inappropriate by the clubs which function as collectives of patients. The vernacular the you have to become familiar with is "collective" and that offerings are "donations". I would start with very small samples and try to develop a rapport with staff. When you first begin you are going to encounter attitude and prejudice. You will be shunted into a room and asked to wait a long time for an appointment. This can go on for a ridiculous amount of time. Be ready for that. You will generally have the opportunity to make your case, but don't expect any kind of reasonable acceptance or courtesy at first.

Once you have gotten some tentative acceptance, you will be asked to front for up to a week or more. And there are definitely some shady outfits out there that set up just to take your product and never call you back.

If by chance you develop rapport, your product is appreciated and things initially work smoothly, you may be able to have a somewhat regular flow of your product into the club. You will be asked to identify yourself for tax purposes and a record will be kept of your sales. Be prepared.

The underground market is in many cases much more stress free. Good luck

i just walk in during the non-busy days and bring product. They are interested in buying in smaller amounts they usually buy as pound at a time. Identify urself as a vendor and they will take u to a vending room. it is not cut throat or shady and usually it is a pleasant experience. They purchase small quantities because usually by county law they are only permitted to possess smaller quantities. For example I think in alameda county they are only allowed to posses 2 pounds of product at the dispensery and not much more in a sperate location. I know of some clubs in the area getting caught with 30-50 elbows and these owners are now in criminal court facing felonious charges usually brought by them being shady people as it is and not payimng taxes because many dispensery owners and staff in my experience are hardly anything more than glorified drug dealers with tattoos on their arms saying things like hustler 4 life and shit...be wise in choosing the dispensery u go to some are operated shady making me feel uncomfortable just buying meds let alone vending to them.

its getting competitive nowadays so i think alot of the shady places will disappear i dont waste my time with any place or people i dont like the look of.

How do you become "legal", like you said? I'm looking to get into vending as well.

you need to get a legit medical recommendation from a doctor for an ailment that is helped by cannabis use.

look up a medical marijuana docs if your in a Medical marijuana state, choose one, anyone lol go in with your medical history and reason for wanting MMJ, get you papers and your legal!
