I am starting this thread for oregon patients that need help, as a place where we can meet up and help others.
That being said i am a new oregon patient in the portland area in need of help any other ommp patients/caregivers that could possibly help me it is greatly appreciated....

as you can plainly tell from no responses i never ended up getting help..... this happens too often and is very sad.... that being said, i am on my toes now so if there is any oregon patients/growers/caregivers that need help this is a place we can meet and correspond.... if anyone needs help let me know!!!! im willing to help as im generous unlike others that only care for themselves.....

whats up doctordoob! I myself was just issued an ommp card for my MS. I have been looking everywhere for some info about how to get some medicine or cuttings to get everything started and have had no luck! Do you have any valuable info you could pass on? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

i would join cannabis compassion and introduce yourself it is a great community of folks here in oregon that is all about helping others learn how to become self sufficient and grow thier own medicine..... if you have room for yourself to grow your own medicine that would be the best possible way and you can do that and there is a great support group look it up and go introduce yourself to the family they have really helped me to be able to help myself as well as others.... www.freemygreen.com and coming up here august 29th we are having SUMMER FEST 09' your more then welcome to attend... its a great way to meet folks in the community and socialize......so go check it out and sign up for an account, but i must warn you, we are all about compassion and helping eachother as alot of us suffer from illnesses so if your all about bullshit games and just like to use people then maybe this wouldnt be the place for you... but if you are sincere and want help go check it out...

thanks man.... it really sucks when you need help and nobody cares, so i found the help i needed and now im up and growin with a little help, now i try to help others when i can because hey, lets be real, the more gardens growin the better, and everyone needs help, just like evryone needs to step up and help others as this is our world and it is what we make it.... so if you have a shitty attitude about everything in life then expect to always get shit! but lend your neighbor a glass of water! dont be greedy or selfish... help when you can and others will help you! thanks everyone and lets keep this thread going for other people that need help.... i cant hand out medicine or clones unless i choose to so remember to never unwantedly solicit or ask anyone for any meds or clones.... but you can explain your situation and if they choose to help they will offer.... also you should never have to pay for seeds or clones so dont make that mistake of being taken advantage of!

New OMMP Patient & Caregiver here. My setup is still in it`s early stages but i will be looking to acquire up to 3 patients in the coming months (should be all set around Thanksgiving/Christmas time). Ive got some very medicinal strains and want to help out those who need it. Please PM me or something if your going to be in need of a caregiver and are in the Portland area.

Hey my Portland peeps! Well, one good thing is that I see I am not alone. I have spent the past few months playing "red tape" games with docs and the local green clinic to coordinate helping me get my medical card. I have an epileptic condition, so I don't think I will be denied in the long run, but in the short term it sucks. (Consider that I was "assured" it would only be about a month long process, and now I am going on three!!)

Hey!! I am in Portland too. I am also having trouble getting into the OMMP. I was wondering if anyone could be of help recommending a doctor to see. I have a degenerative disc in my lower back that gives me constant pain, but my most detailed papers documenting my condition are kind of old. I have newer papers but they are inextensive and not of much help for my case, though they do at least mention that I have a fractured disc.

My BURNING question is this: Do I need to be under CURRENT supervision of an MD to get accepted into the OMMP? I talked to the THCF, and they told me that this was the case. I don't want to have to see an MD and get prescriptions for harmful drugs that I don't want to take, AND pay him for it!

I would greatly appreciate any advice. I would love to get started, and it might even be cool to set up a cooperative in the future, you never know.
