I am new to this site and to Medical marijuana. I received my license in the mail about 3-4 weeks ago. I am having trouble locating dispensaries in Colorado. Let me just say I have a primary care giver and am completely satisfied with them. They are able to supply me with the plant but not any edibles or tinctures. I live up in Estes Park and am along the Front Range a lot from Fort Collis to Denver. Any information would help. So please people stop bickering and help me out.

I have been to a “kind” place in Fort Collins that was anything but kind. They had three strains. I asked the gentleman sitting behind the desk trying to sell me the mmj what dose each one help relief, the effects and a few other general questions. His response I have not smoked them. I don’t know. I understand if you don’t smoke but at least be informed on the product that you are selling. Also they had no tinctures, candies, or edibles.

Forgive my ignorance, but what are edibles, tinctures and candies in the sense that you have your license? Maybe I can add these...
I am beginning a new dispensary in western Colorado and am growing 5 strains, but have 10+ on hand. Am waiting for more care givers as well as waiting to see what happens with the state law. The strains were chosen for medical properties, at least, as far as can be ascertained. We will have special "blend" for pain. Caveat: we are not users- just business folk. Our information comes from our "patients" and research. |

Edibles tinctures, and candies are a different form of ingesting marajuana. You still can get the same effects without smoking. I do have my licence. I would highly suggest that you stock these alternative forms. out of about 5 dispencerys i visited this past weekend most were sold out.

The State guidelines are 6 plants with 3 or less mature(that means flowering) and 2 oz of dried manicured product to include leaves, seeds and flowers. Not to include stems, stalks or roots. Then it states something about also including any preparation,(which would be edibles and Tinctures) OR WHATEVER IS MEDICALLY NECESSARY.
The State only has guidelines, a patient and their Caregiver can have whatever is medically necessary, BUT you would have to prove that amount is necessary. Short version of how to do it. pp69
