Default Nursing and MMJ
Hello rollitup.

My friend is going to get her LVN/RN Nursing license in the state of California. I was wondering if getting a 215 card would interfere with getting the nursing license?

Are there any nurses out there? Thanks for any help.

I just recently went to a class at work and one of the topics was drug use in the workplace and how they go about testing.
One of the questions was concerning the MMJ card. The answer was "this is a drug free workplace" A MMJ card does not protect you.

im not sure how it works in CA, but here in CO, the medicinal registry is private - nobody is allowed to tell the nursing board she has a card.

if she ends up pissing hot on a random test, it may not save her job (then again, it just may.), but it would probably save her license.
