Default Moving to Cali on Friday, Questions About Obtaining A Card

So, I'm moving to Anaheim on Friday. I was wondering how I go about getting a card, is it as simple as calling a doctor and scheduling a visit? I have generalized anxiety disorder, insomnia, and chronic migranes which I have medical records of and such; I have legitimate reasons. Do I need to wait a certain period of time before I can see a doctor, like do I need to be a resident for a certain period of time before I'm eligible? I really hope not, because this is the main reason I'm moving out to Cali. I'm tired of benzos, sleep meds, and have always found a good bowl of indica will do the trick, as long as its cali buds, I've had my shit shipped from a friend from Kind Meds and many other dispensaries, so I'm no stranger to medical herb. Anyway, I'd like to know if I can just apply as soon as I move in to my appartment. Thanks for any knowledge.

jealous, but at same time ohio is 100gs or less "just a $100 ticket"growing or possession, so im kinda cool with that for now

Yea, besides needing a CA license or id your good to go, check out Potdoc.com, might help you find a doctor in your area that can help out with getting your card.

No you do not, at least i didnt, ive only lived here for 4 months. I got my card, and the doc didnt ask for anything other than my Id and a little $$
