You simply cannot beat this microscope for $12. There is another good one for about $100 that hooks to your PC via USB. I have to track down the link. The $12 scope is perfect and at your local Radio Shack.

He is correct, http://blackbetty420.com/ is the USB scope I was referring to. I like to check out what I buy beforehand, too. The Radio Shack scope is great... 60x-100x for $12. I would love some people to try it and tell me it is too cheap to be of value. "I never liked looking through a cheap microscope to find something" STFU. If you are using the BlackBetty why not post some pictures? There is another microscope that hooks to a video RCA jack. This one is a childrens toy found at Walmart... called the EyeClops, here is a link http://www.eyeclops.com/ . It is about $70 but it has 100x, 200x, and 400x settings and you can view it on your TV. The 420scope from http://www.420scope.com/ and "retail shops" like CT is the EXACT same Radio Shack scope with a fancy paint job for $26. Save over 50% and get the original... seriously look at the two side by side and tell me they are not exactly the same http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2179604.

I use the 420 scope and a 30x jewelers loupe. Both combined give me all the viewing pleasure I need.

You can get the radio shack scope for about 1/2 the price of the 420 scope and its pretty much the same thing.
