The reason I was apprehensive about trying to get the licence is that I smoke the herb to help me get to sleep when I have (bad) insomnia and because it seriously reduces tobacco cravings (and of course to deal with the stress of day-to-day life haha). Nothing compared to AIDS and cancer treatment-related usage, but really helpful nevertheless. Thanks for the info, I'll give it a try.

Yeah, I'm interested in getting a card to use marijuana to help with anxiety and insomnia. I am reluctant to ask my doctor about it because he's made critical comments about people who smoke marijuana in the past. If I forced the issue I'm concerned it would compromise any other help I might get from him.

I've got a couple questions about obtaining a medical marijuana card/license for Ontario (Toronto). I need to know how to approach a doctor with it because I doubt very many would have an open mind to begin with. If somebody would like to help me out with the name of a doctor, please message me; it would be appreciated. Other than that, how difficult is the process and how long did it take for those who got one? Is it a national, provincial or municipal kind of thing? Thanks in advance.

I live in saskatecewan and got my licence here in 2003 .my doctor of 12 year wouldnt sign then I got a doctor from south africa seen him once then he signed the 30 page application. do you qualify for the program if yes educate your doctor about how other methods dont work( pils etc) your doctor doesnt have to agree, he has a othe to up hold and it is your right to use cannabis as medicine I told my dr that I used ediables vs smoking and he like that I wasnt harming my lungs.check out health canada medical marijuana site this will answer all your questions and if not hit me back up and I will do what I can. also I hace a friend Marc how lives in toronto that has his card he owns the toronto 420 seed bank and the sublime cafe he is aworld of info and very helpful with this isssue
