I losted a Very close love one recently to cancer.marijuana helped him to eat and provided him much relief.While the Doctors give him morphine in 3 or 4 different forms they could not give pot in it natural form in this state.So his nieces and nephews had to do the back alley crap and take what ever they could get.These laws need to be changed.I have had a very serious medical condition which at times makes it difficult to stand let alone walk.Pot helps me to deal with the spasms,pain and get much needed sleep.My relative who passed on and myself are both in our late fifties,so he wasn't and I'm not a kid but to old to be looking for medicine in the streets.During the day a sativa seems to help while at night an indica can be perfect for rest.On the street its take what you get.A number of years ago after I was first injured I made contact with a Dutch numbers friend and a Swissman who once every 7 or 8 months would manage to have 7 to 14 grs.each delivered to a friend who brought it to me.This would last me 6 to 7 months.As you can see not a heavy toker but the medical benefits were great as I would smoke only when I couldn't take discomfort any further.Then a computer crash ended that as all contact info was lost.I saw were Michigan passed Medical Usage and I'm wondering would I have to establish Michigan residency in order to use there services?I live serveral states over.I never thought I would live to see a African-American elected to the Presidency of the United States and I had given up on pot being legal in the U.S.A. but maybe the rest of the states will someday pass medical usage laws.For a lot of us it's a real need,it's not about just wanting to cop a buzz,new how to do that since the sixties.Geting needed natural medication should not make you a criminal or force you into contact with a criminal element.I'm sorry this is such a long post and to be honest I was scared to even write it.But with MY BROTHER,s death on my mind I felt that I needed too.You folks keep up the fight for legal medical marijuana,some of us don,t have energy or are afraid too.Remember there was a time when a joint could get you 9 years.I had a friend who had that happen to him back in 1964.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time to read this.Any suggestions appreciated.May your day be one of love and peace.Thank you once again
