i was offerd the sprays that are on trial at the moment there is a few catches that have not been made public they have taken the high out of them and also have taken the mellow effect out i was told by my specialist as i have damaged the nerves in my hand that

(a) i would not be able to smoke during the trial
(b) they could not garentee against side effects from pills currently trialing
(c) could not garentee the real spray as they were using a gazebo as well
(which means u could get the spray or something else)
(d) i would have to travel to london every 2 weeks

although the sprays sound good i also enjoy the high and not being able to smoke would definately not last long.

also the trials are only on for 6 month's and you will be prescribed a furthur 6 month's after then there was no garentee as its only on a trial bases at the moment.....

If they do ever legalise it so that people like me can smoke it (I have mental problems), I'll get myself a doctor.

if they leagalised cannabis alcohol and tobacco sales would drop. Which is one of the governments biggest earners. As cannabis can be grown by almost anyone it would be harder to tax. I think if cannabis was harder to grow and easier to tax it could well be legal. Cannabis has many uses medically and can be made into high quality paper, material to make rope and clothing and can also made in to oil that can be used as fuel. The more we use up our natural resources on earth. The more chance we will be forced to grow weed 4 our survival in the future . Its the king of the forest.

The English government wants to legalize weed but they cannot.
This is because of trade agreements with America.
They have gotten around this by having test areas for decriminalizations for users in certain areas of London and other major city's.

The police mostly turn a blind eye to small amounts found on users with several chiefs of police in our country calling for legalization of drugs from a users point of view,but not from a dealer or cultivators point of view.
They have increased the penalty for cultivators and dealers which in itself is hypocracy

Hi Jane, waiting for legalisation could be a serious test of your patience. As you state the pharmac. option appears to be a real bummer, which dose not surprise me at all as they would be working with active substance (THC) only and can not cope with the full platoria of ingrediants in Cannabis and probably never will be.
My wife has MS and we have found that a tea brewed from about 3-4 teaspoons of crushed dried plantmaterial (to do this one should be growing ones own), in a litre of water and drawn for about 15min, together with 3-4 teaspoons of sugar (brown), is tremendous in relieving pain, tension and other symtoms of MS and or the drugs used by MS patients, if taken in the late afternoon. Sleep comes easy and naturaly. We know that this dose not have the "stoned" effect of smoking the same quantety of weed but you can get on with your life w/o being stoned out of your braket. If you want to increase the effect and you can stomac the taste simply eat the leaves. This will also improve some of the bowl issues that occur with MS. We are very greatfull for your input as it conferms all our suspitions and reenforces our conviction that no one (Gov. and BallHEADS inc.)has the right to infringe on our personal choice to grow and use the HERB!
