The true test will come when the majority of legal med users try to write off their growing expenses against their state and federal income taxes as medical expenses.

this is HUGE!!!!!!!!!

a club in oakland tried to pay federal taxes a few years ago. they were raided.

will they tax my garden? or is this just for sales.

new mexico passed a few days ago, but you can't grow your own. WHO'S GROWING IT?????

hello, anyone see whats happening?

hang on, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
You havent seen anything yet. on april 17 here in my city they have a electrical licence class. this is to discuss the new upgraded grid. in the last 7 hour class they were discussing how to program into the base grid formula a way to isolate surges that detect lighting DRAW! this is designed to do 2 things. helping commercial users get lower rates for lighting these high rise buildings. the other is to catch local growers. in the month of march 2007 11 grow houses were taken down locally. these were all discovered due to "current diversion" (thieft) and demand (Amps). if any residence or business pulls this figure you will be investigated.

So they have you arrested now you get your charges.
you can recieve state or federal charges. then after this they can nail you for tax evasion. they are starting to see how much money a local grower can make. when you have grow ops like the canada factory, or the tenesee caves these send a direct message. They want the cut from this money.
Here in texas about 7 years ago they made drug TAX Stamp.

Not that drugs are legal but what the state said was clear. It is unlawful to posses or sell these drugs but if you have the tax stamps on your drugs when you are arrested we will not seize your assets you will face criminal charges but not tax evasion.

So dont be suprised when you said bumpy ride... you were sugar coating this issue.

yeah but what about the states with no decriminalization laws? your telling me that when the government legalizes bud, all the states will have it legalized? michigan dosent have it decriminalized, california has it decriminalized PLUS the medical marijuana. so whats in it for states like michigan? where if your caught with a tiny bit your thrown in jail?

If the Federal Government taxes the states that have decriminalization laws or have medical marijuana, then they basically have to admit they are wrong and legalize it... Mabie im missing the whole point... Mabie not... Im buzzed

Dont forget to look at the bright side of things. You are lucky enought to have medical weed available. Australia has none, so your a step above us. Having said that it is quite the kick in the pants all the red tape shit they do with it. thats the greedy government for you , by few people for few people.

I've seen a couple different lawyers concerning "the right way" to open up shop. They both said "the Feds are a wild card". Meaning we can do everything within the state's law and keep CA happy, but Uncle Sam can still dissapprove and shut us down AT ANY TIME. Even if we aren't trying to get any tax breaks, and we are paying our taxes, we can still get a visit form the DEA.
very nice facility. i wish you all the best. strive forward my friend.
