i'm so happy i could shit. the ballot will be arranged so the mmj question will be third on the list. i will be very surprised if this doesn't pass. i always resisted the green rush of all these people who aspire to move out west to grow bud in peace. i always said i wouldn't do it unless i could do it right here at home, although it looks like the proposal itself is a bit rough. no home growing, the allowed quantity would be determined AFTER the measure passes, and chronic pain isn't one of the allowed ailments, but it's a start. i know more than a couple of people who have illnesses that could be helped by cannabis but they refuse to use it because of the law.

According to this current copy of the bill. You can have up to 25 plants, but it is undiscriptive about who will be covered.

Total Head, What do you mean no home growing? I thought the bill said that homegrowing was allowed if their was a hardship such not being able to afford medicine from the dispensaries or living whatever is deemed "too far" from the dispensaries. Am I not right? I hope I am.....I'm freakin biting my nails figurativly ahhhhhhhh!

Those ppl that u described at the end of ur post r the exact ppl that r gonna screw up MMJ cause they won't take a stand for natural cannabis. So what is gonna happen we r gonna get screwed by the Gov't and pharma companies makin this Sativex shit that is processed THC and CBD. I think if we wanna keep this from happening everyone is gonna have to start voicing protest in places besides anonymous forums like this one.

Im not registering to vote. Im 40. Hate politics! Dont think my vote even means anything. To tell you the truth...I hope it doesnt pass. The government doctors say there is nothing wrong with me. I tried for disability and did every step they said too and still got denied. A lawyer calls me and says he can get me disability but then he gets half of every check. LMFAO!!! I think the way things are are just fine. Leave me alone! Let me do me they way I need to do me.

If this law passes we will still have to ask permission to grow and pay money out and yadda-yadda-yadda-blah-blah-blah. Most of us will still not be able to grow at home and after filling out the paperwork to try to get a legal grow op they know who you are now and when you get denied they will come and check now that they know you know how to grow and want to grow. I would vote if they said that weed is concidered just another plant like a tomato that bears fruit and is no longer monitored or cared about and is set free from regulation.
But to vote on this law the way it is written... is just admitting that the gov has all the power and the people dont mean a thing but tax money for "the man."
