No, just meant that Asheville is a hipster town. It's a very artsy type community with a lot of hippies. I don't grow weed, but I support those that need it. And if any city in NC is gonna do it, Asheville will be the place.

And to intensive, I can speak from personal experience about the laws here. I've had 3 possession cases dismissed. And I plead guilty to all three. Don't know where you were busted, but obviously some towns aren't gonna put up with it.

Decriminalized doesn't mean LEGAL, it just means the laws are relaxed. You're not gonna go to jail for having bag in your pocket. And you had 3 felonies, so that just means you were in the wrong. You don't get 3 felonies for petty stuff in NC. But you didn't say what the felonies were, or whether you had priors.

edit: I live near Ohio now, and to me, shit is more strict than in NC

thats a crock i was arrested for 67 plants and ran for 5 years and they pinned a possesion with intent to distribute so nc is still pretty hard on the green

And did you even read my post? I said the laws in NC are DECRIMINALIZED, if you don't know what that means I feel sorry for you. DECRIMINALIZED MEANS THEY ARE ONLY AFTER THE BIG DAWGS, Decriminalized does not mean LEGALIZED. And you're a fucking idiot if you think that you can grow that many plants and others think you're keeping that to smoke for yourself. Even I would assume you are "intending to distribute." YOU AREN'T EVEN ALLOWED TO GROW THAT MANY PLANTS IN CALIFORNIA UNLESS YOU OWN A DISPENSARY!!!!!!!

And yes, if you have up to an OUNCE AND A HALF in NC, it is a misdemeanor. FACT. And unless you got prior convictions, you will see NO jail time. I've been through the system and did my research while living there for over 20 years.
