Got my med card. Growing and possessing within legal limits for myself and sixteen people.

Have I given up my right to lawfully own a firearm?

Either way, it would be smart to contact a lawyer, or at least your local police/sheriffs dept.

Its like everything in our legal system, sketchy. legal grow+legal gun=all good legal wise. The rub is if they bust you and claim your not legal. Either they claim you sold it to little grade school kids or your condition that authorizes your use is not valid, or a hundred other BS reasons why they have invaded your castle. They will tack on multiple (as many as they can) charges to where your looking at 15 years to life and get you to cop to at least one. Job done. I wouldn't give them any more charges to hit you with than you have to. but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong...........

I own firearms, and I have a concealed carry permit as well. I carry my gun on me everywhere I go, that includes when I have marijuana on me, with my medical permit.

A police officer cannot dissarm you if you have a concealed carry permit, unless you are breaking any of the laws that revolve around carrying a firearm, or any law that has to do with firearms.

In other words, guns have their laws, and our medicine has its own set of laws. Know the laws, and stay within them and you will be fine.

A medical marijuana permit doesnt give you the right to possess, it only gives you a defense against the law. That is why you must stay within it, because they are just hoping you step out of line so they can bust you.
