Medical Marijuana Dispensary Farmer/Supplier

Okay, so I recently moved to California from Florida, and I was wondering if anybody knew anything about cultivating and supplying the marijuana for dispensaries. Is there a special license you need to get or do you only need a Medical Marijuana Card? Also, I was wondering if doing this made a decent amount of money. I had seen some recent documentary somewhere covering the Emerald Triangle region of Northern California and it had said that suppliers for the dispensaries made on average $2500 per pound, I really can't believe that until I hear it somewhere else as well. Also, I live in Southern California, so I imagine things are a bit different here regarding what the dispensaries pay for their supply. Anyway, this would be a dream come true if this could really make a decent amount of money and is easy to become licensed for.

Also, if a Medical Marijuana Card is the only requirement, is there a good strategy to receiving one? As I imagine asking a physician "Can I have medical marijuana?" doesn't work.

I appreciate any and all help I can receive on this subject!

If you have a valid condition it will work. There are probably specialty clinics.
Does anyone know of any conditions that they'll basically give it to you right away that they can't really check for? Something like back pain maybe, but I imagine for that they may try to give you some sort of pill before they prescribe marijuana.

Hahaha, what a cunt. You should have either

A. Helped me out in some way (Which you obviously couldn't do cuz you don't know anything)

or B. Read the questions, realized you were too dumb to help, and just left it to someone who isn't completely fucked.

Do you happen to have something that might be hard for a doctor to examine.

like insomnia or high anxiety, possibly post traumatic stress?

you have to be very careful here in calif because the market is stll unregulated and the rules are not fully formulated yet.

you can still get busted for supplying to clubs. you can still get busted for transporting. you can still get busted for cultivation.

and even if you are "legal", you can still lose all your shit and pay thousands and maybe do some time while fighting the shit.

i would be very careful.

first you have to have a legitimate medical condition. second, you can only have enough medicine reasonably related to your condition, meaning you can't have an unlimited supply of processed cannabis.

if the sherrif shows up, and you're selling, he'll know.

so, it's a permit for medicine.

BUT, i suggest you read the attorney general's rules. there, you have mention of collectives and coops, which, in fact, all cluba in cali are turning into these. you can become a member of these and you are covered by the state, but not by federally.

Man, I do have medical conditions, I don't think there is anyone alive that doesn't have some sort of problem as far as health goes. Besides, this has nothing to do with me and my conditions, and I'm not doing it for recreation. Remember how this post is here to find information on becoming authorized to provide for dispensaries? That is a legitimate business, ie. creating the medicine for the patients you feel are the only ones deserving enough to use marijuana. So I'm not conning the dispensaries and stealing medicine from people who need it, I'm providing it! So, you are for some reason disagreeing with yourself here. I seriously don't understand your hostility.

Thank you, this was a helpful post. Now, regarding the attorney general's rules, wasn't it very recently stated by the attorney general that they would be ending DEA raids on people who were abiding by the state laws on medical marijuana? I'm not trying to challenge what you said, I just want as much information as I can get.
