question though, what is pearlite... could i just youse aquarium stones or is perilite somthing that the soil needs for nutrients and shit... the hydro store is closed today cuz its a sunday but i will go first thing tomorrow morning

Perlite is a very pourus mineral. It has not nutrients at all. It helps with drainage and such things. Perlite is very important for soil grows. Do not use Aquarium Gravel. Wait to get the perlite.

Oh forgot, something to test PH with, even if it is one of the PH droplet kits. A PPM meter would also be nice, but not as important, seeing as you are growing in soil.

npk is .04 - .01 - .06 kinda seems like it couldnt hurt and i just wont use any nutes what soever untill flower
