Default Anybody hear of this before
My cousin just called with a problem he has never seen before, seem's like one of his twilight strains has hairs growing out of the leaf. The hairs then have heads on the ends of the hairs? WE live about 2 hours apart so I can't get a picture to show. I'm also growing the same strain and have not noticed this. Any suggestions with this oddity?

it looks like spider mites, although I have never seen the webs hanging off of the leaves like that. The white dots on the leaves do look like spider mites though. Ask your buddy to look on the undersides of the leaves and he should see tiny bugs crawling underneath the leaves. You can use neem oil, I use a solution of 91% rubbing alcohol and water mixed at a rate of 50/50. I spray the solution once a day for three days and the mites are gone. You can use this solution up to a day before harvest...

It's not spider mites, already checked for that. It's just something my cousin and I have never seen before (56 years growing experience between us) But thanks for the response....I figure it's some type of insect, but what?
