thanks Flojo. i'm not worried about steeping to long, just know it's easy to go overboard trying to kill these little fucks. why use a whole pack when i cig will do?

You can prevent them without beneficial insects. Don't bring in plants from outside, if you do spray them first. CHeck all new clones coming into the room. Filter the air being brought into your room. Change your clothes and shoes before you go into your grow room.

THere are all kinds of different ways to prevent the mites. And preventing them is much easier than getting rid of them.

yes i agree. they also say that you should keep your humidity over 30 and temps below 80.

i always spray floramite every cycle right before they shoot out hairs (about a week or two into flowering) and i've NEVER had any mites using this method...

i think of it like this : if you miss one single application of floramite, then you will get mites, if you stick to scheduled applications you wont get mites. simple.

also i place "no pest strips" in the corners of my room. and keep it cleaner than your grandmas house.
