Hey

So I did a bit of research and from what I read it seems this is a magnesium deiciency, but before I load a bunch of magnesium into the plant, I'd like to know what you guys think.

Planting date: July 12th
Medium: Soil
pH: about 6.5
Lighting: 4x 42w CFL (although I'm getting a 250w mh/hps any day now)
Temperature: roughly 82F

Please let me know what you think the problem is. The leaves are basically drooping but still strong it looks like, the tips seem to be dropping while the sides curl up, but there seems to be no discoloration.

at this point you shouldn't be deficient in anything. the plant should still be feeding off the cotyledons. what kind of soil are you using?

when is the last time you watered. The soil looks dry

yea it looks like it needs water i know when my plants leaves have drooped during the day when its getting sun that they need water i also take a spray bottle and mist them with distilled water they love it and will perk back up in mins

I was actually out of town for a few days and had someone caring for the plant for me. Maybe they didn't do a great job lol....
I'm using Myke's potting soil for organic growing. As for watering, twice daily. I just finished watering now. (do you suggest more frequent watering?)

I have a 1kg container of Plant Prod all purpose 20-20-20 fertilizer by the way Dangly Bits, not MG. I have not used the fertilizer yet.

I'm off to bed now but will post again tomorrow to update on the progress or degress of the situation.

i'd bet a shiny nickel that the soil you're using has nutes in it. look at the bag and see. if there's any nutes then that's your problem. seedlings need nothing early on.

Stop... no Mg.. sagging and droopy leaves is "usually" TOO much water or heat (not in cfl).. no nutes till 3-4 weeks old..water every 3-4 days...don't start throwing shit at them..
Mag diff. shows as a V shape leaf ,pointing up, plus maybe banding (stripe looking leaves).. read FAQ...go to plant problem...to nute/ph prob. ...to chart by Nietzsche (good chart with pics).. I'd stop everything and let dry a bit...IMO...Luck

hmmm good call silky, i realized it has time release nutes in it. i switched to a non nuted one just now but the roots ripped a little, its a strong plant so far though so ill leave it alone and give it extra attention for now until the roots catch again.
any suggestions on how to help the process of the roots rerooting? lol
