Unhappy Brownish/Yellow Spots On Leaves

Soil Grower:
Bag Seed
6 Weeks Old
21 Inches Tall
8 Inch Pot
Miracle Grow Potting Soil
Water Every 2-4 Days With Tap Water At Room Temp.?
I Have Not Added Any Fertilizer For Fear Of Over Fertilization Because Soil is Pre-Fertilized. Bag Says Fertilizes Plants Up To 3 Months
1-65 Watt CFL, 3900 Lumen Light Output 5 Inches away from plants
Growbox is 15x10x35
Temp. Is About 70 give or take a few degrees depending on outside room temp.

Ok, to explain a little bit more, I've converted a speaker box for a 12inch house tower speaker (one of the ones that have the 12inch sub, then a 4 inch mid and a small 2 inch tweeter) into an apartment safe growbox, ive lined the inside of the box with milar and cut a door into the back of the box for easy access. ive fixed 2 small computer fans to the inside of the box, and cut holes behind them so the air is sucked in from outside the box and directed inward, this makes for great ventilation, the box stays about the same temp as the room its in. everything has been going well since ive started using this set up. i grew my first plant but unfortunatly after 5 weeks it turned out to be a male.(but did make some decent hash) Now i am 6 weeks into my second grow, i switched my lights to 12/12 after the plant hit 8 inches tall wich took just over 3 weeks. But the plant still has not shown any signs of sex yet. there was one intruption in the light schedule, the power went out for a few hours during lighting and they missed a little over half a day. And now the past couple days ive noticed yellowish/brown spots spreading across the leaves, from the inside of the blade out. they are very small little dots. Ive been trying to find out what this could be. My best guess based on what ive read is a Mg deficiency. but the only photos i can find are very severe. and whatever it is with mine it hasnt gotten out of control yet, but it is spreading rapidly. any information is greatly appreciated. thanx in advance.

sounds like you may have spider mites or other pest?Get a photo loupe or strong magnifying glass and look at the back of the leaves. You cant see them with the eye.they look like little crabs.
Good luck

Is it on all leaves, or is it mostly starting at the bottom?

Flushing can seldom hurt. 2-3x the volume of the pot with plain water, being careful to not water too soon after.

First of all, there are plenty of people on this site that use MG with no problems, so save your hate of miracle grow for another thread. More specifically, for another thread where the person is not already growing in it. If he were going to burn his plant, it would have been when it was a seedling. This is the second BS post in a row of this nature I've seen from you. If you don't supplement MG soil, it will be fine.

Second - as I mentioned - he is already planted and at almost two feet, so unless you're saying that the soil all of a sudden decided to burn his plant and he should transplant immediately, your post is less than worthless.

To the original poster, you may be developing a Mg deficiency. They don't start severe, but generally start on the lower leaves, as it is a mobile nutrient. The available Mg will therefore go to upper leaves, leaving the lower ones deficient.

I would grab a grow nutrient solution made for marijuana, such as botanicare, fox farms, advanced ... there are many. Use it as directed, and whatever deficiency you may have will be cleared up. Get the grow, not bloom, formula, as often bloom formulas do not contain a lot of Mg. Grab a bloom formula when you see sex and go from there.

How about before everybody and their mom gives you potentially wrong advice, you post some pics. That would probably get a better answer sooner.

Plus it will be much easier to properly diagnose.
