Stem turning red help!! - Page 2

ok here are some new pictures. I am hoping you can see the stem better. I also took a picture of what I hope is NOT a set of balls coming in. Please take a look and let me know what you think

The pictures are too fuzy to tell anything. The only pic that looked like it did have an issue is the first one...but its just too hard to tell what those light colored parts are. From what I can see they look good. Is the growth slowed or stunted...or are new shoots still forming? If you still have new growth that looks good then you should be alright. If you want to compare your grow I would go to the grow diaries thread and do a search for skunk.

ya, I was worried about the camera thing. I only have the cord to upload off of my phone. So the pictures I take are with that. I have a good camera but I lost the cord. I am going to have to go and buy a new cord so I can get better pics.

As far as the plant. It is only 13 days in to flowering so its still growing. I am just concerned about what it might have caught and if it can give it to the other plants. Thanks for your help

Wow ...well...they're good for a camera phone. Yeah get a new cord asap. It'll make things much better. Describe the one with the discolored parts. Is that the only leaf it happened to. And do you have a 20 or 30x scope? If so inspect the underside and top of that leaf to see if there are any bugs or something. I'm not saying its a pest issue, since its too hard to make out...but its always good to inspect.

Distilled water.

try getting your ph to 6.5 see what happens.
Phosphorus deficiency will cause the purple or reddish on the stems, High Ph causes nutrient lockout thats why youre showing signs of deficiencty.... now Ive grown with Hydo, not dirt our PH should be 5.8 but im pretty sure soil is supposed to be 6.0 - 6.5. Check the grow faq...

well I know what happened! I always buy Walmart distilled water. They were out so we got some from Giant Eagle. Omg I am surprised it did not kill them. The PH was below 4.0!!!! I am so glad I checked the ph before I watered them again. That is what has made this one sick. I also think it has turned it into a hermie. It has hair and it looks like it is getting balls.

It is my own fault. I should have checked the ph in the water. I just assumed if it says distilled then it is. I guess it is a new growers mistake. Oh well live and learn
