I found a bug today outside, and it looks like a ladybug, but its black with red spots. I tried to get a picture but my camera wont focus on it.

looks just like a ladybug tho, but its black with red spots. Anyone know if this is ladybug? im letting it crawl on me right now, becuase if it is im going to go put it by my plants = )

ISnt there a bug however that looks like a lady bug, but its harmfull to your plants? does anyone know of the bug I speak of?
